Every March 8th, women around the world are championed as part of International Women’s Day, a celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women for their economic, political and social achievements. And as you may or may not know, March is also Women’s History Month.
In conjunction with these events, Publicis Dallas and the United Nations created a movement encouraging men to use their voices to speak out for women’s equality called “He for She.” I am incredibly proud of our work on this project, and as March comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to lend my voice to the cause to highlight some of the incredibly inspiring women of Publicis Worldwide, North America. NEW YORK CITY, NY (March 26, 2014) – After an impressive showing on the local level, Publicis Kaplan Thaler received an impressive eighteen awards at the annual District II ADDY Competition for their work for multiple clients. This is the best ADDY showing for the agency in recent memory, earning the following recognition: One Special Judges’ award, thirteen Gold, and four Silver, across nine different brands. SEATTLE, WA (March 19, 2014) – Publicis Seattle landed an impressive six Seattle ADDY Awards at the annual American Advertising Awards for their work for T-Mobile and the Seattle Symphony. This is a major accomplishment as the ADDYs are one of the premier award competitions in advertising with over 50,000 submissions per year and three separate shows on the local, regional and national levels. The American Advertising Awards recognize Seattle’s best ideas with entry categories including digital, viral, social and experiential. TORONTO, CANADA (March 17, 2014) – Publicis Toronto announced today that it will be continuing its seven-year relationship with current roster client Rogers following a three-month review that began in November of 2013 with an RFP to ten agencies.
