NEW YORK CITY, NY (April 23, 2014) – Publicis Kaplan Thaler received six awards for two different clients at the annual 2014 DTC Perspectives Advertising Awards Competition. The 2014 DTC National Advertising Awards showcases exemplary work spanning multiple media and therapeutic disciplines. On top of the six wins, Publicis Kaplan Thaler was recognized with three other finalist spots that were in the running. The DTC National Advertising Awards honor a diverse group of DTC marketing campaigns and are designed to honor excellence in DTC creative based on independent judging of the campaign creative.
This year, Publicis North America won Effies for the following entries:
· GOLD — Shionogi Osphena in the Best Print Campaign – Best in Show
· GOLD — Shionogi Osphena in the Best Print Advertising – Women’s Care
· GOLD — Shionogi Osphena in the Best Website – Women’s Care
· GOLD — Pfizer Lyrica in the Best TV Advertising – Pain
· BRONZE — Shionogi Osphena in the Drug Launch
· BRONZE — Shionogi Osphena in the CRM
The following entries were among the finalists:
· Shionogi Osphena — Best TV – Women’s Care
· Merck Shingles — Television – Disease Education
· Bristol-Myers Squibb/Pfizer Eliquis — Best TV – Cardiovascular

The 2014 DTC National Advertising Awards showcases exemplary work spanning multiple media and therapeutic disciplines. This is the first year in which 4 major Advertising Awards categories have been divided up by therapeutic category. At the DTC National Advertising Awards ceremony, one finalist from each therapeutic category was announced. Those finalists competed against each other in Best TV, Best Print, Best Digital, and Best Website Campaigns, where Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners was awarded. The remaining categories were not be divided by subcategory and were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
