Publicis Kaplan Thaler Wins Shorty Award

NEW YORK CITY, NY (April 7, 2014) – Publicis Kaplan Thaler has landed a Shorty Award at this year’s annual award ceremony in New York City for the work created for Crest and Oral-B. The Shorty Awards honor the best of social media, recognizing the people and organizations producing real-time short form content across Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Instagram, Vine, and the rest of the social Web. More than 2 million tweet-nominations were sent during the 5th Annual Shorty Awards nomination process. With each passing year, branded social media accomplishments continue to surpass their predecessors, and the Shorty Awards are never far behind in recognizing them.

Millions visit the Shorty Awards site every year to support their favorite social media content creators by tweeting nominations. The winners of the 6th Annual Shorty Awards, chosen by The Academy, were revealed at the ceremony at The Times Center in New York City.

And this entire agency team and client went out, without possibly knowing what they were going to get from a bunch of unruly 8 year-olds (not the most dependable group of folks), and they came back with simply a wonderful piece of greatness. I don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed watching a rough-cut (or a kid throw up) more. The entire oral care team never has it easy, but they sure made it look easy this time. Congrats to the entire team.”
