NEW YORK, NY (May 8, 2014) – Publicis Kaplan Thaler , in collaboration with Butter Music and Sound, received an award for the radio campaign created for Charmin at the second Amp Awards for Music and Sound.
The AMP Awards honor the brands and music creators whose sonic achievements—in song, original score and sound design—have left an indelible mark on our consciousness. More importantly, they’ve helped create a defining, lasting bond with consumers and underscore the importance of sound in any broadcast communication. Taking center stage during Creative Week, the Awards will be curated and judged by the AMP membership in association with professionals from the music and marketing industry universe—from agencies and brands to record labels and publishers. Honorees will include outstanding contemporary works in original songs and underscores, adaptations, licensed songs, sound design and more.
The Charmin radio campaign, “Sing About It,” won in the Most Impactful Radio Commercial category.
Gail Hollander, Worldwide Account Director for Charmin commented on the award, noting, “The Charmin team is truly honored to receive the AMP award. The fact that our mission of making the bathroom experience more pleasurable with our ‘Enjoy the Go’ Campaign has been recognized by the advertising community is very gratifying.”
Among the sponsors for this year’s event are Clear Channel Communications + iHeart Radio, Island Records and Grey Worldwide. Additional sponsors include QuietMan and SourceEcreative.
