NEW YORK, NY (April, 27, 2015) – Publicis New York and Publicis Montréal have each been awarded a 2015 Webby award for outstanding digital work. Publicis New York’s More Than a Costume website for Doctors of the World was named the best website for a charitable organization or non-profit, and Publicis Montreal’s interactive campaign for Watch_Dogs Live was named best mobile campaign.
The Webby Awards is the leading international awards competition recognizing excellence on the internet, and this year’s competition received nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 states and over 60 other countries around the world. The New York Times has called the Webbys “the internet’s highest honor.”
“This was an amazing team effort conceived, produced and executed in less than 8 days,” said Carlos Figueiredo, creative director of the Doctors of the World campaign. “We literally had to move faster than Ebola.”
We would also like to recognize another Publicis North America client, Understood, who were awarded a Webby for their outstanding parenting website.
Webby winners will be recognized at the 19th Annual Webby Awards May 18, 2015 in New York City. For more information about all of this year’s winners, visit the Webby Awards website.
