NEW YORK, NY (November 11, 2014) – Publicis Kaplan Thaler was named a category winner in digital media by the ANA Mulitcultural Excellence Awards for the Anti-Defamation League’s “Imagine a World Without Hate” campaign.
Now in their fourteenth year, the ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards annually honor the best in multicultural advertising. The awards, which are sponsored by the ANA Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Committee, raise awareness of outstanding work being done in the areas of African-American, Asian, Hispanic, LGBT, People with Disabilities, and Total Market advertising.
Imagine a World Without Hate
“The campaign was a truly charmed project where we lovingly crafted the idea with the families of MLK, Milk, Shepard, Pearl all to a tune blessed by Yoko Ono,” said Creative Director Whitney Pillsbury. “It was a once-in-a-career experience!”
The ANA Multicultural Excellence awards also give back by donating a portion of each year’s submission fees to fund scholarships for multicultural students working toward a career in marketing or advertising.
